Biosolids, often referred to as Sludge, are the treated residuals created from the cleaning of wastewater.  A properly functioning wastewater facility produces residuals twenty four hours a day, seven days a week without fail, and operators are constantly evaluating how to manage what is inevitably one of the largest line items on their budget.
